SMILE. There are many reasons why you should smile more often. Let's have a look at only 10 of them.

You may have chosen not to smile. But I am going to choose to smile - a lot -  every day; and when I wake up in the morning, I am going to go to the mirror and smile at the unique creation called Jephias and say to him, "Good morning Miracle!" and then smile at him again. What a way to start a day! Why don't you try it and give me some feedback?
As a Life Coach, I have dedicated the remaining days of my life to making people healthier, wiser, friendlier, happier and more successful; and in this article, I am going to just bring you closer to the real you, and make you smile and be happier and wiser.
Have you ever seen one of those poor souls who is perpetually miserable? Everything about them screams that everything in their life is lousy. We all know people like this. Gosh, if they ever smiled, you would think their face might crack.

Let me share with you only 10 of the many reasons why you should always find something to smile about.  But firstly, let me explain why I'm writing about the subject.  About a month ago, my day didn't start off as I had planned and I wasn't in the best of moods. I don't remember what I saw or heard, but I smiled at something and, as I did, I felt my posture relax and my mood lift. It was as if I had flicked a switch, and this happened just because I smiled. People say, "Laughter is the best medicine." But I add to it, and say, "A smile is the best vitamin."
Smiling Uses Less Muscle than Frowning or Scowling Do. You may all have heard the saying, "Smile, and the world smiles with you." It is true. If you can think of a time you when you were in a room full of people, or walking down the street smiling, you may have noticed those around you smiled back at you. It's pretty hard to refuse to return a smile; you have to be a really mean character to do that. When I smile, people always return the smile to me and some of them are so unique that I wish they would keep smiling. We were created so beautifully. Just look at babies - many little babies have, Oh, such innocent and lovely smiles.
Smiling Can Boost People's Moods. The simple act of a smile sends a message to your brain that says you are happy, and when you are happy your body releases endorphins that make you feel better. So next time you find yourself in a bad mood, make a conscious effort to smile and notice the difference in yourself. Try it now. Go on:  smile - then let me know if it made you feel any better.

Smiling Is Contagious. It is not just a saying. Smiling really is contagious according to scientists. In a study conducted in Sweden, people found it difficult to frown when they looked at the smiling faces of other people, because their muscles twitched and smiled involuntarily. If you go out and smile at people, every person who sees you will send a smile back to you.
Smiling is the Universal Sign of Happiness. A smile is a nonverbal expression that is understood universally. It is a language on its own. Whilst handshakes, hugs, bows and curtseys have various meanings across cultures, smiling is known around the world, in all cultures, as a sign of happiness and acceptance. Give it away and you will get many more coming back to you! Just smile!
Smiling Is Good For The Health Of The Body. Even if you don't really "mean" to smile, the simple act of smiling releases endorphins, serotonin, and natural pain killers - this makes you happy. It is nature's way of lowering stress levels naturally because it boosts the immune system and reduces blood pressure. If the Minister of Health would follow this advice and set the example, he would reduce the cost of buying medicines and the medical budget would reduce significantly. I hope he gets to read this article - it could lead to a promotion for him! Smile! And you will be a healthier person.
Smiling Makes People Attractive. As humans we are generally drawn to people who smile a lot.

They are like a magnet that attracts people. Smiling also gives the impression that the person is confident. Studies have shown that people are more attracted to others who are confident and feel good about themselves. We all like happy smiling faces, they are attractive.
Smiling Helps People To Be Positive. Try this test: Smile! Now try to think of something negative whilst still smiling. It's really difficult to do. When we smile, our body sends out a message that "Life is good!" You can avoid depression, stress and worry - by just smiling.
Smiling Improves People's Appearance. Charles Gordy once quipped: "A smile is an inexpensive way of improving your looks". You do not need lipstick or make-up, you just need to smile. Think about someone who is smiling and another who is frowning, which of the two is better looking? It is always the one who is smiling.
Smiling Restores People And Says Much More Than Words. If you've said something inappropriate, or something uncomplimentary; if you feel lost or alone, or down and depressed, a smile can restore the situation. It lets other people know you are prepared to be open with them, and that you are willing to make amends and restore broken relationships.

Smiling Creates Trust and Rapport. A smile is a great way of establishing mutual feelings of being on the same level with other people. The situation may be a one-to-one conversation, or standing in front of a group, giving a presentation. It conveys the message, "I'm OK - you're OK - and we're all going to enjoy one another's company."
Smiling Makes You, And People Who See You, Feel Good. Even if you're feeling a little blue, think happy thoughts and just add that smile! It programmes your mind to feel better because endorphins are released and they cause physical or emotional stress to reduce. A big open-mouthed smile is visible from further away. It assures people that you are friendly and makes them feel better to see you smile, whether it is from a distance, or in close proximity.

If something makes you feel like it is too difficult for you to smile, I am here for you. I am prepared to work with you through your issues and it will change your entire life.
Mutare, let's smile. We are great people.
