Post Reporter A CHAKOHWA man, Nyasha Mwezwa (32) is appealing for $1 500 to enable him to undergo a growth operation at the Mutare Provincial Hospital. The cause of the growth on his cheek and chin which is not known, has disabled him by causing blindness to one of his eyes and deafness to his left ear. "I was born with the growth on my chin, but it was small. “However, it continued growing and it is causing me sleepless nights. I am being forced to sleep with one side the whole night. "I have approached many doctors and they all said that I have to look for at least $1 500 to have corrective surgery done on me. “I have received help in terms of bus fare from a Chakohwa-based club, Sokuseka, but they cannot raise the required amount. My father is 102 years old and my mother is 62. They cannot afford to raise the money needed for the operation," he said. Well-wishers can contact him on 0774 747 609 or 0774 411 506. |
