ENTERTAINMENT cathedral, the Pavilion Watering Hole, last Saturday hosted one of the biggest social gatherings so far this year.

Dubbed the Culture Party, the event saw a cosmopolitan clientele converging on the hang-out spot to imbibe on what the afternoon had to offer during a memorable outing. Such was the overwhelming success of the function that it ran well into the night, much to the delight of patrons.
The mini soccer tournament earlier in the day proved to be what the doctor had just ordered and provided the tonic for the jamboree that followed later.

Hosts Pavilion F.C won the inaugural Culture Tournament after getting the better of Mac's Entertainment and Oasis.
Management at Pavilion expressed delight at how the event had gone, saying they hoped for more similar functions.
"We are thrilled with how things turned out today and that will give us the impetus to celebrate the goodness that life has brought together on a single platform.

“Already, we are planning to make such events regular occurrences because going by the overwhelming response we received, everyone had a good time. Pavilion will surely remain the leisure melting pot for a long time to come," said Obey "Big Fish" Hove, the Pavilion managing director.
Meanwhile, the good times continue rolling at Pavaz this weekend with an impressive line up of events. Tonight (Friday), the joint throws a braai party for its patrons, while the Open Air Dance Party, preceded by Tha AftaNun Jam Session, invites everyone onto the dancefloor tomorrow (Saturday).
The Old Skool Mayhem closes proceedings on Sunday. Resident DJs Snaxx and Teddy will be taking turns on the turntables to entertain revelers.-Manica Post
